Registered Massage Therapy - Staff Bios

Julie Ottoborgo, BHK, RMT 

Julie is a Registered Massage Therapist since 1990. She has studied and practiced with Osteopathic Physicians, Manual Therapists and Energy Healers, who are leaders in their field. Julie's massage therapy style is unique and exclusively hers.

Her treatment approach is holistic, encompassing mind, body and soul. She utilizes her ability to scan key areas to support each client as an individual. She knows what areas to work using the appropriate amount of pressure. Julie brings the person she treats into the moment, shutting the door on outside stresses. She works her clients from head to toe, providing relief from pain, stress and daily tension. It is the ultimate massage experience, where clients can unwind, refresh and feel revitalized after each session with Julie.

Outside of Massage Therapy, Julie is passionate about teaching spin classes, cycling, yoga, meditation, gardening, and all of nature. She also loves to play with her two dogs and hubby.

Elissa Geib, RMT

Elissa Geib RMT, is a practicing member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a graduate from the D'arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in London, Ontario. She grew up across the world in Hong Kong and is excited to be living and working permanently in Canada. She is passionate about helping people achieve a more pain-free and a less stressful lifestyle. Elissa is a very energetic, positive and outgoing person.

Elissa specializes in some specific massage techniques like Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxing Swedish Massage, and Hot-stone Massage. She is a treatment oriented therapist who is successful in treating clients that have tension headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia, digestive issues, and low back pain. She has also worked with carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction and sports injuries. In order to further support her clients, she provides stretching and strengthening home care routines.

Outside of work, Elissa is passionate about biking, playing board games, sightseeing and visiting her two sisters in Toronto and Belleville whenever she can. She also loves to go for walks with her partner and their dog down by the lake, and tries to make it back to Hong Kong to visit her parents once a year.
