What is Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine?
As an ancient healing art originated from China, Acupuncture and Herbal medicine have evolved from China, Japan, Korea and Tibet for over 2000 years. It developed as a comprehensive and complicated system including profound philosophy, theories and treatment methods. It covers internal and external diseases from head to toe. In the last 60 years, the western society is more open and embraces this type of holistic medicine due to its fascinating results with pain management and with many “incurable” diseases such as cancer.
Generally, Acupuncture is to restore the imbalance of the body by stimulating energy points (Acupoints) along the affected and related meridians and channels. Herbal medicine works directly on affected internal organs and strengthen their functions. It is well integrated with modern western medicine diagnosis and well accepted as an effective assistant to mainstream western treatments.
Clean needle technique is used which is approved by WHO (World Health Organization). All the needles are sterilized needles used only on one acupoint at each time for one patient. All the used needles are disposed into an appropriate container and deliver to Medical Waste Management Center.
